Nollywood actress, Maureen Okpoko has cried out for help following the sudden loss of her sight.
Taking to her Instagram page, Maureen Okpoko made the announcement in a video, soliciting financial assistance from Nigerians.
“Good day everyone, my name is Maureen Okpoko. I’m a Nollywood actor and I have suddenly lost my sight. That means I can no longer see or I cannot see for now.
“I’m seeking for your financial assistance. It will be greatly appreciated if you all can come to my aid. I also need your prayers and words of encouragement.
“It has not been an easy journey for me but I’m grateful to God for the gift of life. Thank you, thank you all,” Maureen said.
It would be recalled that Maureen Okpoko has starred in Nollywood movies like Matured Games, Crazy Temper, Enemy of Light, The Banker, Wasted, Falling, One Room, Labour Room, and The Duplex.
She was nominated for the 2016 Africa Movie Academy Award for Best Actress in a Supporting Role.
