The just-concluded 2022 BET Awards included several breaktaking highlights, one of which was the outstanding performances by Nigerian artistes Fireboy DML and Pheelz.
Singer Fireboy thrilled the fans at the main event with his electrifying performance at the awards ceremony in Los Angeles on Sunday night where he rendered his amazing performance of “Playboy and “Peru” making history as the first afrobeats artiste to perform on the BET stage.
Nigerian producer and singer, Pheelz, however stole the show at the BET awards pre-show outdoor event, which preceded the main ceremony where he sang his hit song, Finesse, to the cheering crowd.
Meanwhile, the Two Artistes were included in a lineup of globally respected musicians, including Babyface, Chance The Rapper, Chlöe, Doechii, among others.
Nigerian celebrities and fans have taken to various social media platforms to congratulate Tems, Wizkid, Fireboy, and Pheelz for their outstanding wins and performances, hailing them for taking Afrobeats to the world.
