Popular award-winning Nigerian gospel singer, Sinach has responded to the death of Osinachi Nwachukwu, a fellow gospel musician.

Nwachukwu, who was prominent for her collective hit track ‘Ekwueme’, died at an Abuja hospital on last Friday.

While Edwin Alex, a gospel musician, claimed that she died of throat cancer, some social media users claimed that her death was due to domestic violence and how her husband had abused her while alive.

Also, Frank Edwards, who is also a gospel singer, had alleged that the death of the singer was influenced by an “unreasonable human”.

In a post by Sinach on her Instagram page on Sunday, She put up a short note wherein she depicted Nwachukwu as a “good soldier”.

She also prayed for the children and family of the deceased.

She wrote, “Praying for your children and family. Rest well, good soldier.”

Also, Judikay, on her Instagram page posted, “See you on resurrection morning. Keep resting in Christ ma’am.”
