For music producer and founder of Mavin Records, Don Jazzy, no industry will grow if its practitioners keep making efforts to bring down one another.
Don Jazzy who has been seen in different online skits with Instagram comedians disclosed that featuring in another person’s work does not reduce one’s value if there is mutual love and understanding.
Worried by how celebrities don’t support themselves, Don Jazzy said nobody is an Island hence the need for creatives to support one another more to bring out the best in them.
The multiple award-winning producer whose label is home to Korede Bello, Rema, Di’ja, Johnny Drille, Crayon, Dr Sid among others urged women to be supportive of one another’s career and grow together.
“I have seen how celebrities don’t like supporting one another. It is not encouraging to see such happening because we lose a lot if we don’t work or support ourselves. We must support ourselves to grow. There is not gain in tearing ourselves down,” he said.
