Shanna Moakler expresses her joy for her ex-husband, Travis Barker, and Kourtney Kardashian as they embark on the journey of expanding their family.
“Very excited for them, hope they have a great experience bringing in a new life to the world,” Moakler, 48, shared in an Instagram comment on Saturday, June 17, in response to a user’s question about her thoughts on the pregnancy.
Travis Barker, the 47-year-old drummer who was previously married to Moakler from 2004 to 2008, and the 44-year-old reality star Kardashian, announced their pregnancy earlier on Friday, June 16.
During a Blink-182 concert that evening, Kardashian surprised Barker by holding up a handwritten sign that read, “Travis, I’m pregnant.” The sign, paying homage to the band’s “All the Small Things” music video that premiered exactly 14 years ago, quickly caught Barker’s attention and that of his bandmates.
“Hey Travis, you got an announcement!” Mark Hoppus exclaimed during the show after noticing the sign. “We’ve got an announcement that somebody’s d—k still works! Let’s hear it for Travis… somebody’s having a baby!”
Moakler later hinted on Saturday that she had known about Kardashian’s pregnancy for weeks, suggesting that she was one of the first people to find out. “I’ve known for weeks, this is not new news to me,” she commented on Instagram.
