Nollywood actress, Omotola Jalade Ekeinde, recently took a trip down memory lane, expressing nostalgia for some epic Nollywood movies from the past.

The veteran actress, who has graced the industry for over two decades, shared clips from iconic Nollywood films such as Yankee Girls, Games Women Play, Blood Sisters, All My Life, and Kosorogun.

Accompanying the videos, Omotola Jalade Ekeinde reflected on the significant role Nollywood played in introducing Nigeria to the world before the rise of Afrobeats.

“Someone sent me some of these vids and it was nostalgic… lol. Despite the not-so-good quality and absence of social media during that time, these movies broke barriers. Way before Afrobeats, we introduced Nigerian entertainment to the world. We still do.”
