A host of European football’s heavyweights have pushed deals over the line on transfer deadline day, with some of the most notable showcased below.
The German champions were keen not to rest on their laurels after clinching a historic treble last season, and, over the last 24 hours, have incredibly confirmed a quartet of signings.
All of Marc Roca, Bouna Sarr, Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting and Douglas Costa have made the move to the Allianz Area.
The former pair come in the form of permanent deals, whilst former Stoke man Choupo-Moting arrives as a free agent, and Costa returns to Bayern on loan.

For Italian champions Juventus, there was just a solitary deadline day swoop, as Federico Chiesa arrived from rivals Fiorentina.
The Italian international moves to Turin as part of a complex loan agreement, which will see the Bianconeri obliged to pay up once certain terms and conditions are met:

The last 24 hours have also proven rather hectic at the Parc des Princes, as PSG moved to secure a pair of reinforcements to Thomas Tuchel’s squad.
First, Moise Kean’s surprise loan arrival from Everton was made official on Sunday.
This has since been followed, meanwhile, by Danilo Pereira making the move from Porto, also as part of a loan agreement:

In addition, the capital giants are expected to announce the cut-price signing of Rafinha at any moment.
One European heavyweight to have been left disappointed by developments on deadline day, however, are Barcelona.
The Blaugrana were known to have been in hot pursuit of both Memphis Depay and Eric Garcia, as Ronald Koeman aimed to add further depth to his newly-inherited squad.
As confirmed this evening, however, deals for both players have failed to come to fruition:
| Memphis Depay is staying at Lyon, according to RMC – Barcelona just told OL they would not be completing the deal – talks had got to the stage where Lyon had got so far as to send over the documentation to complete the agreement. https://t.co/3zmDMVoJEq
