APC disqualifies 10 presidential aspirants clears Tinubu, Osinbajo, others

The All Progressives Congress (APC) Screening Committee has disqualified 10 presidential aspirants of the party.

The chairman of the committee, John Odigeie-Oyegun, disclosed this on Friday while submitting its report to the National Chairman of the party, Abdullahi Adamu.

Those disqualified by the screening committee include Pastor Tunde Bakare, Rochas Okorocha, Ben Ayade, Sani Yerima, Ken Nnamani, and Ikeobasi Mokelu. Others are Dimeji Bankole, Felix Nicholas, Uju Ken-Ohanenye and Senator Ajayi Borroffice.

Those cleared by the committee include;
Bola Ahmed Tinubu
Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo, former minister of transportation Rotimi Amaechi, Senate President Ahmad Lawan, and Kogi Governor, Yahaya Bello. Others are Ekiti Governor Kayode Fayemi, Emeka Nwajiuba, Ogbonnaya Onu, former Ogun Governor, Ibikunle Amosun, Ebonyi governor David Umahi, Badaru, former Niger Delta Minister, Godswill Akpabio and Mr Tein Jack-Rich.

The screening committee noted that the cleared aspirants are expected to take their certificate of clearance today.

Recall that the committee had screened the 23 presidential aspirants on Monday and Tuesday.
