Reported deaths in Africa as a result of Covid-19 has reached 255,13, while the number of confirmed cases in all countries of the continent is 11,941,086.
This report is according to data gathered by the Center for Systems Science and Engineering (CSSE) at Johns Hopkins University (world map) using statistics from the World Health Organization and other international institutions as well as national and regional public health departments.
It revealed that 334,190,876 vaccinations have been administered across the continent, noting that 10,041,358 people have recovered.
South Africa has the most reported cases of 3,996,441 and 101,859 people died. Some of the most-affected countries include: Morocco (1,233,138) , Tunisia (1,066,127), Egypt (515,645), Libya (502,189), Ethiopia (489,846), and Kenya (335,092).
