Kenya and Sierra Leone on Monday signed seven bilateral agreements following talks in Nairobi by delegations led by President Uhuru Kenyatta and his visiting Sierra Leonean counterpart, Julius Maada Bio.
The seven agreements were on the establishment of Memoranda of Understanding on Political and Diplomatic Consultations; Trade and Investment; Cooperation in the Field of Wildlife Tourism; Gender Equality and Women Empowerment; Cooperation in the Field of Culture and Arts; Cooperation in the Field of Youth Affairs; and the Establishment of a Joint Commission for Cooperation.
Meanwhile, the Sierra Leonean leader is also scheduled to be the chief guest at Kenya’s Independence Day celebrations on June 1.
