Mary Remmy Njoku, the mother of three and wife of the IROKO TV boss, Jason Njoku has claimed that marriage and parenting is a partnership.
She, therefore, opined that African men are not doing their wives a favour when they pay bills.
She explained that when a man pays bills he is merely holding up his end of the bargain.
Remmy added, “The greatest marriages are built on teamwork. When it comes to marriage, the love shouldn’t be blind. Marry a team player.”
Her post reads:
Dear African men,
You’re not doing your wife, the mother of your kids a favour when you pay bills.
Marriage and parenting is partnership.
You are merely holding up the end of your bargain.
