Nigerian Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo is reportedly set to announce his political ambition of joining the 2023 presidential race on Monday (today).
The source reportedly said the Vice President has consulted far and wide and is ready to throw his hat into the ring for the ticket of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The source quoted by The Cable disclosed that Professor Osinbajo will make an official declaration to Nigerians “first thing tomorrow morning”.
Before now, the spokesperson to the Vice President, Mr. Laolu Akande had in the past denied reports that his principal is set to contest the 2023 presidency. This is despite the call and activities of several political groups urging Osinbajo to declare interest in succeeding President Muhammadu Buhari in 2023.
