Following his amazing performance in match day 21 of the Saudi Arabia Pro League, former Nigeria’s Super Eagle and Al Hilal SC striker Odion Ighalo has been named in the team of the week.
Al Hilal defeated the league leader Ettifag 3-0 with Ighalo scoring one of the goals.
The league organiser in the country on Tuesday announced the team of the week and former Al Shabab forward featured in the team’s attack.
The former Watford FC of England star player has been a superstar player for Al Hilal since he arrived from the rival club Al Shabab in 2021.
Ighalo has scored 10 league goals for the third-place team Al Hilal this season and he was also instrumental in the team’s good outing in the 2023 FIFA Club World Cup in Morocco.
