A cleric, Dr. Dele Oluwatade advised President Muhammadu Buhari to consider restructuring the country and stop borrowing from China, stating that a restructured Nigeria can survive the debt burden and economic hardship facing the nation.
While addressing newsmen in Benin City on Sunday, February 13, Oluwatade, who is also a medical doctor and President of City Gate Elders Parliament, expressed worry over recent happenings in the country, which he noted were as a result of bad leadership.
“This is a generational burden you have placed on Nigerians. My discourse is to help gain, redeem your image and bring something good out of His Excellency for which your lineage will be proud of, and all Nigerians will forgive you and love you.
“Remove the headache of borrowing to pay salaries. A restructured Nigeria will and can survive the debt burden. This press conference is called to help you share the burden of governance with a view to keep Nigeria together,” Oluwatade said.
