The timetable for the 2020 West African Senior School Certificate Examination has been released yesterday by the West African Examinations Council (WAEC). The examination is to commence August 17 through September 12, 2020.
This was as disclosed in an official statement made available to press yesterday and signed by WAEC’s spokesperson, Demianus Ojijeogu.
The statement read; “the council hereby urges the candidates to abide by the rules and regulations guiding the conduct of the examination by shunning all acts of malpractice and obeying all COVID-19 protocols that have been put in place at the examination centres.
“We have sent the timetable to the schools and candidates also have their copy,” Ojiejeogu noted.
It is important to note that this year’s WASSCE was earlier scheduled for April and later postponed indefinitely due to COVID-19 pandemic.
