Fantasy Premier League Gameweek 5 is set to get underway on Saturday the 17th of October.

The first clash of the weekend pits Everton against Liverpool at 12:30 PM UK time.

As a result, your team must be locked in by 11 AM UK time on Saturday.

Gameweek 5 will come to an end on Monday the 19th, when Leeds and Wolves face off.

Below are 101’s FPL tips for the upcoming game week.

Three in, including Tottenham midfielder

Heung-Min Son (9.1)

Your first FPL pick of the week should be Tottenham midfielder, Heung-Min Son.

Spurs have had a solid start to the season, in part due to some quality creative exploits from Harry Kane, who has begun, at times at least, to take up a slightly deeper role for the Lilywhites.

The player to have benefited most from this role change has indeed been Son.

The South Korean has already managed to score six goals in the league this term, all of which have been assisted by Kane.

Son has also managed to chip in with one assist of his own, earning him a league-high 45 points on FPL from just four outings.

And given he is a lot cheaper than the like of Mohamed Salah and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and is still outscoring them, bringing in Son should be a no-brainer.

Jack Grealish (7.1)

Whilst he is currently being overlooked by Gareth Southgate, you really shouldn’t be overlooking Jack Grealish in FPL.

At just 7.1, the Aston Villa standout represents one of the best budget options currently on FPL.

Despite struggling last season, Villa, after making a few solid signings, have hit the ground running this term, winning their opening three games.

And despite having played one less game than most players right now, Grealish is still the 3rd best midfielder on FPL after assisting three and scoring three in three outings.

Dean Smith and co. will face off with Leicester in GW5 and though the Foxes have had an ok start to the campaign, they have kept just one clean sheet in four outings.

James Rodriguez (7.8)

The final player you should add to your side this game week is James Rodriguez.

Like Grealish, Rodriguez is very reasonably priced considering the returns he has managed already this season.

The Colombian has notched three goals and two assists in the Premier League and is a big reason why Everton are currently sitting pretty atop of the table.

Granted, you may be somewhat skeptical about signing Rodriguez this week as Everton are taking on Liverpool.

But the tie is not at Anfield and also, as shown via their 7-2 defeat vs Aston Villa, Liverpool are not currently at their best and an in-form Rodriguez should be able to exploit that.

Adrian is also expected to be between the sticks at Goodson Park with Allison injured, which should only increase Everton’s chances of scoring.

Three out, including Arsenal midfielder

Aleksandar Mitrovic (5.9)

Aleksandar Mitrovic started the season as a 6.0 forward.

Given his superb 2019/20 in the Championship, the Serbian looked to represent a great budget option this season.

However, even the most skeptical of people probably didn’t expect newly-promoted Fulham to be this woeful so early in the campaign.

Scott Parker’s side are yet to pick up a single point this term and currently sit dead bottom of the league.

As a result, you are probably better served selling Mitrovic for someone like Patrick Bamford.

Willian (7.9)

Willian started his Arsenal career in style, garnering a hat-trick of assists on his debut vs Fulham.

As a result, at his original price of 8.0, most people probably viewed the Brazilian as a great option.

However, though his displays since haven’t necessarily been awful, his goal contributions just haven’t been there.

In fact, in his last three league starts, Willian hasn’t managed to provide a single goal or assist.

As a result, you should look to sell him and sign someone like Grealish or Rodriguez who are currently cheaper.

Callum Hudson-Odoi (5.6)

With Christian Pulisic and Hakim Ziyech missing the start of the season due to injury, Frank Lampard has handed Callum Hudson-Odoi a decent number of minutes.

This, along with his low price-tag, may have encouraged some users to snap up the midfielder.

However, despite putting on some solid displays, CHO has scored just once and assisted none in the Premier League this season.

And with Ziyech at least now closing in on a return, it is hard to see the Englishman earning too many starts in the near future.
