Highlights: Chelsea duo Callum Hudson-Odoi & Hakim Ziyech star on international duty

With the international break now well underway, several of Chelsea’s first-team stars have been impressing with their respective countries.

Callum Hudson-Odoi’s England under-21s down Andorra

First up, Callum Hudson-Odoi was in action for England’s under-21s on Thursday.

The winger has found minutes somewhat hard to come by at club level of late.

However, for his country, CHO has been in fine form, with his latest starring performance having come against Andorra.

The Young Lions played host to Andorra on Thursday evening, as they continued their path towards the European Championships.

England started the day sitting well clear atop their qualification group, having won seven and drawn one of the country’s previous eight outings.

And when all was said and done on Thursday, Aidy Boothroyd’s men earned yet another comfortable win.

Liverpool’s Curtis Jones opened the scoring 27 minutes in, after Hudson-Odoi played a lovely cross-field ball.

Andorra levelled things up just before the break, but Ben Wilmot fired England back into the lead four minutes after the interval.

Rhian Brewster then won a penalty just past the hour mark, with Hudson-Odoi having stepped up to convert, sealing a 3-1 victory:

Hakim Ziyech’s Morocco cruise

Next, Chelsea new boy Hakim Ziyech was in action with Morocco.

The Atlas Lions played host to the Central African Republic in their 3rd group clash of the year.

Morocco opened the scoring just 10 minutes in, when Ziyech played a cute ball into Achraf Hakimi, who had no problem converting.

Ziyech then got on the scoresheet himself, first converting a penalty, before smashing an effort across the face of goal, which found its way into Lembet’s net.

Zakaria Aboukhlal then capped off a fine evening’s work for Morocco 64 minutes in.
