Homa Bay County communications boss Maurice Juma Aluoch succumbs to COVID-19


Maurice Juma Aluoch, the Director of Communication in the office of the Homa Bay Governor, has succumbed to COVID-19.

Juma Aluoch died while receiving medical care at the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at the Homa Bay County Referral Hospital.

He had been admitted to hospital on Sunday after he tested positive for coronavirus.

Prof. Richard Muga, the County Executive Committee member in charge of Health said Aluoch spent one night at the facility before his condition deteriorated.

The late Aluoch previously worked for Royal Media Services as a correspondent for Radio Ramogi in Homa Bay.

He later landed the county job where he served at the communications director for Governor Cyprian Awiti.
