Hot weather for Egypt on Thursday and Friday

Meteorologists predict hot weather during the daytime on Thursday and Friday in the northern parts of Egypt, with very hot temperatures in Upper Egypt.

Moderately hot weather is anticipated on the northern coasts for Thursday, with hot weather in Cairo and Lower Egypt and very high temperatures in Upper Egypt.

Medium rains will fall on several areas on the Red Sea Mountain range.

Winds will be moderate and somewhat active on Upper Egypt, while dense mists will affect visibility in several areas at Lower Egypt and the northern coasts.

Temperatures predicted for the following cities are: 32C in the northern coasts and central Sinai, 36C in Greater Cairo and Lower Egypt, 37C in South Sinai and the Red Sea mountain range, 38C in northern Upper Egypt and 41C in Southern Upper Egypt.

Minimum and maximum humidity levels expected are: Greater Cairo 25-75 percent, the Lower Egypt 28-80 percent, the northwestern coasts 45-80 percent, the northeastern coasts and central Sinai 45-85 percent, South Sinai and the Red Sea Mountains 27-37 percent, northern Upper Egypt 24-38 percent and southern Upper Egypt 25-41.

Friday will see moderately hot weather for the northern coasts, with higher temperatures in Cairo and Lower Egypt and very hot weather in Upper Egypt.

Dense mists will impact visibility in Cairo, Lower Egypt and the northern coasts, while active winds will distrupt maritime navigation at the Gulf of Suez.

Temperatures predicted for the following cities are: 30C in the northwestern coasts and central of Sinai, 35C in Greater Cairo and Lower Egypt, 38C in South Sinai and Red Sea mountains, 39C in northern Upper Egypt and 41C in Southern Upper Egypt.

Minimum and maximum humidity levels expected are: Greater Cairo 25-80 percent, the Lower Egypt 28-80 percent, the northwestern coasts 45-80 percent, the northeastern coasts and central Sinai 45-85 percent, South Sinai and the Red Sea Mountains 30-60 percent, northern Upper Egypt 22-50 percent and southern Upper Egypt 14-30.
