The DP who continued to drum up support for his bottom-up economic model, said its will set the tone for the 2022 State House contest.
Speaking on Friday while meeting with a group of UDA aspirants from Meru, Tharaka Nithi, Laikipia and Nyeri Counties, the second-in-command said the race is going to be between the coalition of a few political leaders on one side and the alliance of the people on the other.
“It will be a contest between those who want to prioritise sharing of positions and us who want to prioritise empowerment.. those who want to prioritise power and those who want change the economy,” DP Ruto said.
Taking to Twitter after the meeting, DP Ruto who has promised to turn Kenya’s fortunes around through, the bottom-u, said the priority of the ‘Hustler Nation movement’ is to unite Kenya and design a robust financial framework that will create jobs and expand enterprise.
“This approach will generate wealth and reduce poverty from the bottom of the society’s economic pyramid,” DP Ruto Tweeted.
