NAIROBI, Kenya, Sep 19 — Inspector General of Police Douglas Kanja on Thursday took oath of office at Supreme Court buildings.
President William Ruto on Thursday appointed Douglas Kanja as the Inspector General of the National Police Service following approval by Parliament.
Kanja takes over from Japhet Koome who resigned in July.
