Kieran Tierney’s increasing attacking influence for Arsenal summed up by PL-leading stats

The ever-improving attacking output of Arsenal defender Kieran Tierney has been summed up by an altogether impressive statistic, on the back of the capital giants’ downing of West Brom.

Laca at the double

Mikel Arteta’s men made the trip to the Hawthorns on Saturday night, for their latest Premier League outing.

The Gunners of course headed into proceedings with spirits high in the club’s camp, on the back of a timely upturn in form.

Following a 7-game winless streak in the English top-flight, Arsenal bounced back with a 3-1 downing of Chelsea last weekend, before putting Brighton to the sword by a solitary goal on Tuesday.

And, when all was said and done a little less than 24 hours ago, the north Londoners’ resurgence continued.

An utterly dominant display eventually saw all of Kieran Tierney, Bukayo Saka and Alexandre Lacazette (2) go on to find the net, guiding the visitors to a comfortable 4-0 win, their 3rd straight in the Premier League.

KT starring

Evidently, based on the extent of the eventual scoreline, a number of Mikel Arteta’s squad impressed at the Hawthorns last night.

The likes of Bukayo Saka, Emile Smith Rowe and Alexandre Lacazette were all singled out for deserved praise on the back of the clash coming to a close.

None, though, has since been more widely hailed than Kieran Tierney.

Lining out in his natural orthodox left-back berth, Scottish international Tierney dazzled throughout the 90 minutes, defending stoutly when required, whilst surging forward with equal pace and intent.

In turn, the former Celtic man went on to bag a goal and assist, the former of which came courtesy of a piece of individual brilliance:

And, as outlined above, in the aftermath of his latest starring display, Tierney’s increasing attacking influence for the Gunners over recent weeks has since been aptly summed up by one impressive statistic.

As revealed by Arsenal, their all-action stopper has now created 15 chances in the Premier League since the beginning of December.

This is a higher figure than any other defender in the English top-flight has managed over the same stretch of the campaign:
