One dead, 2 injured as National Assembly deputy speaker Moses Cheboi rams motorbike in Molo


National Assembly Deputy Speaker Moses Cheboi has been involved in a grisly road crash that has left a bodaboda rider dead.

The accident occured on the Mau Summit-Molo road.

Daniel Misiani -a bodaboda rider-died on the spot while the pillion passenger Wycliffe Kirongo sustained serious injuries on the feet and hands.

The deputy speaker  reportedly collided with the motorbike as he tried to avoid a stretch of bad road riddled with potholes.

Nakuru County Police Commander Titus Kizito said the deputy speaker was taken to a hospital in Nakuru town after the accident.

He had sustained minor injuries.

The body of the deceased was moved to the Molo Sub-County Funeral home while the pillion passenger is receiving treatment at the hospital wing.
