The 2022/2023 English Premier League season will start on 6 August 2022 and finish on 28 May 2023 with a a five week mid-season break to be observed for World Cup.
The league which will end on May 28, 2023 will observe mid-season break between November 14 and December 26 in order to accommodate World Cup.
The Qatar 2022 World Cup will hold from Monday 21 November 2022 to Sunday 18 December 2022.
The season will contain 34 weekend rounds, three midweeks and one Bank Holiday round – and Match Round 16 over the weekend of 12-13 November will be the last action before the break for the World Cup.
A standalone FA Cup final weekend will be retained and there will be a break for the players between the end of the season and an international break in June.
