The head coach of the Djurtus of Guinea Bissau Baciro Cande is hoping to get favourable results against their group opponents including Nigeria.
The Guineans will commence their campaign in the tournament with an opening game against the host Ivory Coast.
They arrived in Abidjan on Sunday and started training ahead of the opening game slated for Saturday.
Cande admitted that Nigeria and others in the group are very good but said nothing is impossible.
“We want to advance past the first round at last. Although our group has formidable opponents in the form of Equatorial Guinea, Nigeria, and Côte d’Ivoire, anything is possible in football”, he said.
