The Local Organising Committee (LOC) of the 2023 African Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast has concluded plans to deliver its complete facilities to the Confederation of African Football( CAF).
There have been many doubts from the fans and stakeholders of the game in the past months if Ivory Coast would be able to stage the biennial competition.
The competition was earlier fixed for this year’s summer but has been moved to January/ February 2024 due to the weather condition of the country.
The LOC on Wednesday afternoon confirmed that all the facilities will be ready and they will be delivered to the African soccer ruling body by the end of June 2023.
With two remaining match days to go, only seven countries have qualified for the 24-team tournament and the draw has been stated for October 12th, 2023.
