Former coach of Nigeria’s Super Eagles, Gernot Rohr, has thrown his weight behind under-fire goalkeeper Francis Uzoho.
The Omonia Nicosia goaltender has come under heavy criticism recently due to the loss of form.
While speaking to BBC Sports, Rohr insisted that Uzoho can do the job.
” Uzoho can do the job, ”I don’t know if there is a better one”, Rohr said.
The lanky goalkeeper made his debut in an international friendly against Argentina in 2017.
Uzoho was part of the Super Eagles team at the 2018 World Cup in Russia under Rohr.
