Enyimba International goalkeeper Ojo Olorunleke has expressed his excitement about his invitation to the Super Eagle and focus on victory against Sierra Leone.
National team coach Jose Peseiro released the list of 23 players that will prosecute the 2023 African Cup of Nations qualifier against the Leone Stars of Sierra Leone and Olorunleke was among the 4 home-based players invited for the game.
While speaking to Complete Sports correspondent, the Enyimba shot-stopper also said he will love to always be part of the national set-up.
“It’s a big one for me. It’s great when you work hard for something and get the reward.
“It’s good that we players in the Nigeria Premier League are now getting the recognition we deserved.
“I want to be a regular in the national team. I am delighted with this invitation but it is a challenge to keep working hard.
“I can’t wait to join the national team camp. Hopefully, we will beat Sierra Leone and qualify for the AFCON”, he said.
