The 13th edition of the African Games is gradually gathering momentum with countries confirming their readiness to compete in the event.
The Games were initially scheduled to take place in 2023 but have to be postponed to 2024 while retaining the year 2023.
The second technical meeting for the games was held on Saturday in Accra Ghana the venue of the games and some key decisions were arrived at.
The Local Organising Committee (LOC) confirmed that 44 out of the 54 members of the African Union have signified their readiness to take part in the games.
The game is fixed to take place between the 8th of March to the 24th of March 2024.
