After suffering a defeat against Guinea, Nigeria’s D’Tigers returned strongly to winning ways on Saturday against Benin Republic.
The Nigerian side suffered a narrow 62-65 to Guinea in Abidjan on Friday but proved too much for Benin on Saturday.
In the game played at the same venue, D’Tigers dominated the game from the start but lost the first quarter 15-10, they bounced to win the second quarter 12-32.
D’Tigers secured a comfortable 11-19 win in the 3rd quarter and wrapped it with a 13-17 and secured an emphatic 51-78 win.
They will face the host Ivory Coast on Sunday in another epic game.
