2023 Women’s World Cup: FIFA Announces Cash Prizes In Dollars For Super Falcons, Others

The world football governing body – FIFA has rolled out cash prizes for players that will participate at the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup billed for Australia and New Zealand this July.

FIFA guaranteed, that each player registered in the squad by the qualifying countries will receive at least $30,000, with the finalists receiving as much as $270,000.

The group stages will entertain eight different groups of four teams each, which provides all 32 squads a guaranteed sum of $30,000 per participating player.

The 16 teams to qualify from each group into the knockout stages are guaranteed double the previous prize, with each player earning $60,000 in the Round of 16.

Furthermore, all players that feature in the final eight, will earn $90,000 each, with the semi-finalists earning $165,000 and $180,000 for 4th and 3rd place respectively.

The finalists will be guaranteed $195,000, up until $75,000 is added to the base prize for the eventual winner of the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup, summing up a total of $270,000 grand prize.
