Barely seven months to the start of the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup which will be co-hosted by Australia and New Zealand, the World soccer ruling body has released training and accommodations centers for the participating teams.
Thirty-two countries including Nigeria’s Super Falcons qualified for the global football showpiece.
According to the update from the FIFA headquarters in Zurich, Switzerland.
Super Falcons are to stay in Soltibel Brisbane Central Hotel and will use Lionis FC stadium in Brisbane as their training site.
Former African champions qualified for the World Cup after they finished in the 4th in the 2022 Women’s African Cup of Nations in Morocco.
Apart from Nigeria, Morocco, Zambia and champions South Africa are the other African countries that have qualified while Cameroon and Senegal can still sneak in through the playoffs.
The 2023 Women’s World Cup has been fixed to run from July 20th to August 20th, 2023.
