With less than 3 weeks to the start of the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup in Australia and New Zealand, debutant the Republic of Ireland have unveiled their final squad.

The team has been in closed camping in the past few weeks and engaged in a few warm-up matches to put the team in shape.

They faced Shepolopolo of Zambia last to have a feel of what to expect when they face Nigeria’s Super Falcons and they secured a 3-2 win.

The squad of 23 players was unveiled on Friday afternoon and they are set to arrive in Australia this weekend to commence their acclimatization before the competition.

Canada and Australia are the other teams Ireland will confront in the group.
