The draw for the 2024 Women’s African Cup of Nations qualifiers was held in Rabat, Morocco on Thursday evening and it was relatively an easy draw for Nigeria’s Super Falcons.
Morocco by virtue of being the hosts, will not engage in the qualifiers and reigning champions, South Africa along with 3rd place finishers, Zambia will only engage in the qualifiers from the second round.
Falcons which finished 4th in the last edition in Morocco was drawn against the Republic of Sao Tome and Principe.
The three countries that were drawn bye in the first round will join the qualifier in the second round.
The qualifier has been slated to start in August, 2023.
