South Africa commenced the qualifier on a strong note by beating the Cheetah of Benin 2-0 only to falter against the Amavubi of Rwanda by the same scoreline.
The team head coach Hugo Broos and the South Africa Football Association have sealed a deal to be involved in a mini-tournament involving Bolivia, Algeria and Albania.
The tournament has been scheduled to take place from March 19th to 26th 2024 in Algeria.
