Following their heroic performance in the final of the UEFA Europa League, Nigeria’s Super Eagles winger Ademola Lookman and his Atalanta teammates are set to receive Bergamo’s highest honour.
The team put up a superlative performance to outwit the German Champion Bayer Leverkusen 3-0 with Nigeria’s Lookman scoring all the goals.
The team will be awarded Bergamo’s gold medal by the Mayor of the city, Giorgio Gori.

The official ceremony will take place on Friday, May 31, at Palazzo Frizzoni.
