The latest from the camp of the Cheetahs of Benin in Uyo indicates that reliable centre back Mohammed Tijani has been ruled out of the upcoming qualifier against Nigeria.
The Swiss-based defender sprained his ankle at the training on Wednesday and all the efforts of the medics to bring him back proved abortive. Further update from the camp show that the player has been asked to return to his club in Switzerland. Apart from Nigeria game, he will also miss the home clash again Libya on Tuesday. Benin will face Super Eagles at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo on Saturday.
