Barely twelve days to the start of the 34th edition of the African Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast, the trophy has finally returned to the country.
The trophy has been on the tour of the 24 qualified countries in the last month and it came to Lagos Nigeria a few weeks ago.
The trophy arrived in Abidjan late on Sunday evening and it was received by the Chairman of the Local Organising Committee.
The biennial competition is scheduled to commence on the 13th of January 2024.
