The Nigerian men’s Volleyball team has secured their passage to the next African Games slated to be held in Accra Ghana.
The qualifiers were initially scheduled to be held at the National Stadium in Lagos but the participating teams failed to show.
They cited financial constraints as the main reason they failed to show up.
Their inability to show up means the Nigerian side has qualified for the African Games without hitting a ball.
The Nigerian side defeated Lagos Selected 3-0 (30-28, 25-21, 25-22) in a friendly match on Friday.
