Team Nigeria Women’s Volleyball team bounced back strongly to winning ways on Friday evening with a 3-0 spanking of Burundi in their third group game.
The Nigerian side started the championship on a winning note beating Mali 3-0 before losing to the host Cameroon by the same margin in the second group match.
Playing at the famous Palais Polyvalent des Sports de Yaounde, Team Nigeria started the game on the front foot to win the first set 25-17 and did better in the 2nd set 25-14.
They wrapped up the last set in style with a comprehensive win of 25-9 to send to warning signal to the remaining teams in the group.
