The manager of the Italian Serie A side, Atalanta, Giani Gasperini, insisted that he is not certain about the future of Nigeria’s Super Eagles winger, Ademola Lookman, staying beyond this season in Bergamo.
The Nigerian international has been a subject of discussion since last season due to his outstanding performance both in the league and Europa League.
Lookman missed the club’s opening league game on Monday against Lecce due to the speculation.
“I owe a lot to Koopmeiner and Lookman, they had a sincere relationship with me.
“It’s a shame about the situation at this time when the situation has just started.
“The bad thing is that this situation arises when the Championship is underway.
“This is the madness of those who allowed this situation; otherwise, it would have been resolved, and the team was all defined before the Championship.
“I don’t what will happen in these 10 days left in the transfer window”, he said .
