Former Chelsea midfielder John Mikel Obi has made clear that the duo of Axel Disasi and Benoit Badiashile are not type of Chelsea players.
Despite struggling in the early part of the season, the Blues still found a way to finish 6th on the Premier League table
While speaking on a podcast, Mikel said both players don’t have what it takes to play for the club
He further urged the team management to look for better centre back ahead of the new season.
“I don’t think Benoit Badiashile is the guy for Chelsea. Alex Disasi… no! We need two proven, top centre backs who will come in and stabilise that back four. We need two world class centre backs”, he said
