Rivers Hoopers coach Ogoh Odaudu has insisted that his focus is to win the league and pick up the ticket to represent the country at the 2024 African Basketball League ( BAL).
The Rivers state-based side started their campaign in the Atlantic Conference of the league on a bright note defeating Police Batons 74-62 before hammering Lagos Legends 74-59 in their second game on Wednesday.
Rivers Hoopers will face Delta Force before their final game against Raptors on Friday and Odaudu adds that his aim is for his team to win again and qualify for the Basketball Africa League.
“My target is to win and to pick the BAL ticket at the end of this campaign.
“But the way this format is, a lot of things need to be achieved. First, we need to come out in the first four from this phase to seal our qualification to play in the Premier League next year”, he said
