A few weeks after the acquisition of Nigeria forward Victor Boniface, German Bundesliga side Bayer Leverkusen has completed the signing of another Nigerian player Nathan Adewale Tella from the English Championship side Southampton.
Tella spent last season on loan at Burnley where he scored 17 goals in 39 appearances to help the club secure promotion to the Premier League.
Burnley attempted to get him on a permanent transfer but they could not agree with Southampton on the price tag.
After passing his medical on Saturday Leverkusen announced his arrival on Sunday morning on a 5-year deal on a deal worth €20 million plus add-ons.
