Beach AFCON: CAF Confirms Nigeria, Others For Tournament, Announces Date

African soccer ruling body ( CAF) has confirmed the eight qualified teams that will take part in the 2022 Beach African Cup of Nations.

Notable among the qualified teams are Nigeria’s Super Sand Eagles who are making a return to the competition after missing out on the last edition.

They picked the qualification ticket for this year’s edition without kicking a ball after their opponent Libya withdrew from the qualifiers.

Other teams listed are host Mozambique, Egypt, Morocco, Malawi, Madagascar, Uganda and the defending champion Senegal.

CAF further announced October 21st -30th as the date for the tournament in Mozambique.
