With less than 48 hours to the start of the 2023 World Athletics championship in Budapest, Athletics Integrity Unit ( AIU) has cleared Nigeria track star, Tobiloba Amusan.

Amusan who is currently the defending champion of the Women’s 100 meters hurdles was suspended a few weeks ago after she failed to attend a doping test on three occasions.

” A panel of the Disciplinary Tribunal, by majority decision, has today found that Tobi Amusan has not committed an Anti-Doping Rule Violation (ADRV) of three Whereabouts Failures within 12 months” AIU said in a statement.

With the latest statement from AIU, it’s now certain that Amusan will be there in Budapest, Hungary to defend her title.
