African soccer governing body has announced the date for the final of the 2024 Confederation Cup.
Rivers United is the only Nigerian club in the continent and they are drawn to play a quarter-final game against the defending champions USM Algiers of Algeria.
The first leg will take place in Nigeria while Algiers the capital of Algeria will stage the second leg.
“The first leg of the Confederation Cup final will be played on Sunday, May 12. The second leg will be the following weekend, on Sunday, May 19.”
CAF also confirmed the date for the final of the Champions League.
