Camacho-Quinn Claims Gold Ahead Tobi Amusan At Lausanne Diamond League Sampson Adedeji. Reigning World Champion in the Women’s 100 meters hurdles Tobi Amusan on Friday finished second in Diamond League in Switzerland.
Amusan stunned the whole world at the 2022 World Championships in Oregon breaking the World Record with a time of 12.06 seconds and she repeated her amazing performance at the just concluded Commonwealth Games in Birmingham.
The Diamond League was held in Lausanne, Switzerland on Friday evening and it was Jasmine Camacho Quinn of Puerto Rico who finished in the first position with 12.34s.
US-based Amusan finished in the second position with a time of 12.45s while Tia Jone of the United States finished in 3rd position. Her second-place finish qualified her for the Zurich event that will come later.
