English Championship club Cardiff City FC has concluded plans to have Nigeria’s Super Eagles winger Bright Ejuke in their ranks next season.
The winger spent last season in the German Bundesliga with Hertha Berlin, who secured his services on loan from Russian Premier League side CSKA Moscow.
Ejuke has since returned to his parent club following the completion of his loan deal.
Due to the Russian invasion of Ukraine, FIFA has provided leeway to players in the country, many of whom have either suspended or terminated their contracts.
And Cardiff is hoping that Ejuke, who suspended his deal at current club CSKA Moscow to join Hertha Berlin last summer, can be acquired by these means given the present state of play on the transfer front.
