The boss of the English Championship side Southampton Rusell Martin has revealed how Nigeria’s Super Eagles midfielder Joe Aribo regained his form.
Aribo has been struggling to stamp his authority at Saint Mary since last season and also this season.
He was able to score his first goal on Boxing Day after playing 18 matches this season.
The coach revealed how Aribo trained and stretched himself beyond the limit.
” “When Joe Aribo wasn’t playing, he didn’t show frustration with the players, he trained like a beast. He would come to speak to me and get his frustration out,” Russell said.
Aribo’s new form will gladden the heart of Nigeria’s Super Eagles coach Jose Peseiro ahead of next year’s African Cup of Nations.
